To activate and use OneStep Reader Multi, a valid license with a username and password is required. If you do not have these credentials yet, please reach out to your designated OneStep Reader Multi distributor or site administrator.

OneStep Reader provides immediate access to printed material anytime, anywhere. Featuring speedy and effective text recognition capabilities, OneStep Reader 3.0 is equipped with text-to-speech, text-to-Braille, and text highlighting functionalities, catering to individuals with visual impairments, dyslexia, and other reading challenges.

Utilize the app to import texts or capture images containing written content. By snapping a picture, the app can audibly read the text aloud or display it on a connected refreshable Braille display. Enhance reading comprehension with the app's simultaneous highlighting of the sentence and word being read in the image or plain text document. Improve image quality using alignment tools, along with spoken and vibration prompts. Capture multiple pages, such as book pages, for later perusal.

This versatile tool captures print from computer or tablet screens—simply photograph the screen to translate error messages accurately. Noteworthy additions include the removal of a batch recognition page limit, landscape support for all materials, subfolder inclusion in local folders, and integration with Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive for document storage. Users can now make calls, send emails directly from documents, and initiate contact with new acquaintances featured on business cards.

Fully localized versions (user interface, recognition, speech) are accessible in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Norwegian (Bokmål), Swedish, Portuguese (including Brazilian), Dutch, Turkish, Danish, Polish, Russian Cyrillic (not Latin script), Japanese Kanji-based characters (Simplified form), Czech.

Languages offering speech recognition only encompass Afrikaans (with automatic speech sounding), Albanian (audible only), Bulgarian (pronunciation-guided engine present), Chinese Traditional Cantonese (spoken text only available), Croatian (spoken translation mode supported), Estonian (voice production available), Finnish (sound-enabled translation functions provided), Greek (audio listening supported), Hungarian (audibility function incorporated into app), Icelandic (oral interpretation functions integrated), Indonesian Bahasa (audible translation capacity included), Romanian (audio recognition implemented), Serbian Cyrillic/Serbian Latin dual language interface models available), Slovak (pronunciation-aligned models present) and Ukrainian (acoustic interpretation technology enabled).
